Day Three (Thursday)

Thursday night we left the kids home with Alicia and went out with the Judds and the Khushalanis to the Bogota Beer Company. I wouldn't have thought that I would be ready to leave Bella behind so soon, but getting out was just what we needed. We had many laughs and it was nice to get out and see the city a little. (Mom and Dad - it was only two hours ;-) An interesting note: the people at the bar were eating chicken wings with plastic gloves on. They were the type of gloves that people wear for food prep. It was slightly unsettling.

Our babysitter Alicia with Chase Judd, Isabella Scott, and Mira Khushalani.

We kind of fell down on the job today with the pictures. It was a busy morning. We went back to FANA to meet with Elizabeth to go over Bella's medical history. We were feeling slightly inept with the bathing so Elizabeth was kind enough to have one of the nurses bathe Bella for us. Tomorrow we are going to tackle it ourselves. How hard can it be? Pictures will be taken. I bet I get just as wet as Bella.

Bella fell asleep after her bath, and slept the entire car ride home. By the time we got home to Betty's Place I was ready for a nap. So we all had a sleepy day.

Here was Isabella's first bottle with Daddy :

  1. Well, Bella's already an expert at getting baths - so she won't be as nervous as you. You'll only need soap on the parts of her body that get dirty - the rest is just water - it'll be easier than you think. If she likes baths (and most do) it'll be a fun, relaxing time for you - so, have fun discovering parenthood!! How exciting!!
